Sancreed Parish Council has been working with Cornwall Councillor Brian Clemens and other Cornwall Councillors, as well as with surrounding Parishes, to press for a reinstatement of the bus service between St Just and Gurnards Head.
We are pleased to be able to confirm that from Monday 13th November and through a subsidised network that is operated by Go Cornwall Bus, they will operate Service 7 which will offer connections between Sennen, St Just and out as far as Gurnards Head. This service will help reconnect communities and enable them to make onward connections to Penzance via Lands End Coaster and St Ives via Service 16. The Service 7 will operate until Easter Sunday when the next Network change will see the Lands End Coaster return.
We cannot over emphasise that we really need residents to get behind and use this service through the winter as much as possible and we would hope the continuation of the £2 single fare will be an additional incentive.
